Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Vendee Labs (Jersey) Ltd ("Vendee Labs", "we", "us"). By downloading or using VendeeX, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use VendeeX.
2. What VendeeX is
VendeeX is an AI shopping agent that runs on your computer. It searches stores, compares options, and helps you check out. It works on your behalf and follows your instructions.
3. Early access
VendeeX is in early access and is provided "as is". Features may change, break, or be removed while we develop the product. We don't promise it will be error-free or available at all times.
4. You stay in control of purchases
VendeeX does the searching and lines up purchases, and you confirm before anything is bought. You are responsible for the purchases you approve, including checking the item, the price, the seller, and the delivery and return terms before you confirm.
5. We're not the seller
When you buy through VendeeX, the contract is between you and the merchant. The merchant is the seller. Questions about the product, delivery, returns, refunds, warranties, and disputes go to the merchant under their terms. Vendee Labs isn't a party to that sale.
6. Payments and our fee
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, not by Vendee Labs. We don't hold your funds and we aren't your payment institution. When a purchase completes, Vendee Labs earns a small fee at the checkout, collected through the payment provider. You don't pay a separate charge to Vendee Labs to use the app.
7. Not advice
VendeeX helps you shop. It doesn't give financial, legal, tax, or professional advice. Decisions about what to buy are yours.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use VendeeX to break the law, infringe others' rights, interfere with the service, or attempt to access parts of it you're not authorised to. Don't resell or misrepresent the service.
9. Intellectual property
VendeeX, its software, and the Vendee Labs and VendeeX names and logos are owned by Vendee Labs (Jersey) Ltd. These terms don't give you rights to them beyond using the app as intended.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, VendeeX is provided without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that results will be complete, that every store is covered, or that a listed price will be honoured by a merchant.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Vendee Labs isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a purchase you approved, a merchant's acts, or a payment provider's acts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we make a material change, we'll update the date above. Continuing to use VendeeX after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, and the courts of Jersey have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you other rights or another forum.
