Shop in Your Language. All Nineteen of Them.
VendeeX now speaks nineteen languages, and it's fluent in all of them from day one. Ask it something in French, get French back. Type in Arabic, and the whole thing flips right-to-left the way it should. No half-finished translations, no "coming soon to your region." It just works, in your words, on your laptop.

Getting an AI shopping agent to actually think in nineteen languages is a very different thing from slapping some translations on a screen.

Why this is actually a big deal
Most shopping sites treat language like a coat of paint. A clunky translation is a bit cringe, but no harm done. VendeeX is different, because it's not a website — it's an agent that asks your permission before it does things, says no on your behalf, and keeps a receipt for every decision it makes for you.
That means language isn't cosmetic here. It's part of how you stay in control.
Before VendeeX runs a search using its own wording, it checks with you first. You reply "oui." That little word isn't small talk — it's your actual yes, the thing that green-lights the action. An agent that writes beautiful French but only understands the English "yes" wouldn't just sound awkward. It'd act on a yes you never gave. Same goes for spending limits and warnings: a mistranslated number isn't a typo, it's money you didn't agree to spend.
So the messages that really matter — permissions, refusals, limits — show up in your language next to verified English until a native speaker has personally signed off on them. We don't guess with the important stuff.
The part we're quietly proud of
The safety check that stops VendeeX from making up a price or a fake product claim was originally built to read English. Outside English, it can't be 100% sure a reply is safe — so instead of letting it wing it, we made it play it safe: in every language except English, that full safety check runs on every single reply, no exceptions.
It's a little slower and a lot more honest. That's the trade we'll take.
And it's all on your device
Everything above happens on your own computer, with nothing leaving it. No cloud translator, no fonts pulled down mid-conversation. If we can't draw a language properly, we simply don't offer it — because VendeeX will never pretend to do something it can't.
Plenty of apps can translate a menu. Very few can take an agent that genuinely works for you into nineteen languages without cutting corners on the stuff that keeps you safe. We didn't cut any.
