What is VendeeX?
VendeeX is an AI shopping agent that runs on your own computer. You tell it what you want to buy, and it searches stores, compares options, and helps you check out. It works for you and answers to no one else.
What does it cost?
Nothing. VendeeX is free to download and free to use. There is no subscription and no account fee.
If it's free, how does Vendee Labs make money?
When a purchase goes through, Vendee Labs earns a small fee at the checkout, collected through the payment provider. The fee is the same whoever you buy from, so it never changes which option VendeeX shows you first. You don't pay it, and no store can pay to rank higher.
Where does my data go?
It stays on your computer. Your identity, your shopping history, your cart, and the model that learns your taste all live on your device. VendeeX sends no telemetry and builds no advertising profile.
What can VendeeX do right now?

Does it buy things on its own?
No. VendeeX does the searching and comparing, and it lines up the purchase. You confirm before anything is bought. You are always the one who says yes.

Mac, Windows, and Linux. You install it in under 2 minutes. No account and no email required to start.
Which stores does it work with?
VendeeX searches across multiple stores today, and the list is growing. We don't have every retailer, and we say so plainly rather than claiming full coverage.
What languages does it support?
19, including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Greek, Swedish, Danish, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia, and Turkish.
How do I install it?
Download the app for your system, open it, and follow the 3-minute setup. There's no account step and no email wall.
Is this finished, or still early?
VendeeX is in early access. The core works and it's free. Some features people ask about, like price watching and negotiation help, are still in development. The Roadmap page lists what's live and what's coming.
How is this different from the shopping assistants built by big retailers?
A retailer's assistant works for the retailer. VendeeX works for you. It runs on your computer, earns the same fee whoever you pick, and keeps your data on your device. You can read exactly how it ranks options, and no store can buy a better position.
